Sundown at the Kanti Awa Million Dollar Bar…
The sunset after the shortest day of the year…
Cats diggin’ sunsets with rain.
I do like the weather we are having. Repeated tropical rains that are making Bonaire a verdant garden.
And the island cats seem to like it too.
Pool water is high. Easy drinking.
Too wet? Boom! chills under the retro/turqouise chaise lounge.
Pirate is satisfied to claw my flip flops.
Almost heaven. Kitty nirvana.
But the sky dominates & Sweet Pea takes notice.
Another great day down island…
The sky is gray and white and cloudy,
Sometimes I think it’s hanging down on me.
And it’s a hitchhike a hundred miles.
I’m a rag-a-muffin child.
Pointed finger-painted smile.
I left my shadow waiting down the road for me a while.
